Prior to joining Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare, Dr. Brownstein was an internist at a local hospital for 18 years. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston University and his medical degree from Northeastern University of Mexico. He performed his internal medicine residency and was assistant chief resident at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut.
